Cardiff sign ex-Gunners 'keeper

The 19 year old goalkeeper will sign on a free transfer having come through the Arsenal youth ranks. Howard has regularly been mentioned as a goalkeeping talent and good prospect but has found oppurtunities extremely limited at Highbury. He has nevertheless benefitted from their world class facilities and training and will provide the back-up to our first-choice goalkeeper, at the moment Neil Alexander.

Of course you've never heard of him, cos he's never played in a league match. He'd have had some good coaching at Arsenal though.
