Jerome seals Birmingham move

Cameron has signed a 4 year deal with Birmingham for an initial fee of £3million. The deal may rise to £4m depending on performance.

Jerome is aiming to help Brum bounce straight back to the Premiership by solving their goal-scoring problems:

'That is why I have come here because my ambition is to play in The Premier League and I want to do that with Birmingham City.'

'I had a really good season last year at Cardiff and there was a fair bit of speculation about people coming in for me.

'Hopefully, I can just pick up from where I left off last season and continue to do the same here.

'Birmingham are a massive club and it's a big opportunity for me.'

The move seems right for the player and also for Cardiff City Football Club, with speculation now over, the management can set about strengthening the threadbare squad with the transfer kitty sizably boosted by a fair price for the England U21 striker. Jerome joined Cardiff on a free and only broke into the first team mid-way through last season.

Good Luck for the future Cameron.

" thought he was on his way to sheffield united?"

They wouldn't meet Sam's valuation. They did offer £2m but we held out for the full asking price.

A verey very good signing for Brum and the lad himself. He'll learn lots playing and training with some of the very good international players there.

Disagree BigYid, so pleased to see Jerome go now, especially for this price. A very satisfactory piece of business.
