Cardiff City manager Dave Jones has a different kind or injury worry to contend with this weekend as he looks set to rest key players and keep them fit for the play-offs.
Jay Bothroyd, Chris Burke, Peter Whittingham and Kevin McNaughton are all assured of a starting place so are expected to have a bench role if anything. The likes of Ledley and McPhail are returning from injuries so may be given some time to build up their match sharpness.
The Derby game gives Jones a chance to assess some of the fringe players and Sol Taiwo has postponed surgery in a bid to feature. Josh Magennis, Tony Capaldi, Kelvin Etuhu, Paul Quinn and Peter Enckelman will be hoping for rare starts while Mark Hudson and Gabor Gyepes may also have a chance after being left out of late.
Gavin Rae and Miguel Comminges are both out with injury.
For Derby County, Stephen Pearson is ruled out with a knee injury while striker Rob Hulse has had surgery on a longstanding groin problem and will also miss out.
Promising defender Miles Addidson is a long term casualty, and looks set to continue that over the summer and beyond while Stephen Davies, who has an ankle injury, is also unavailable.
Striker Gilles Sunu's loan has expired and the Frenchman has returned to Arsenal, while manager Nigel Clough is also unavailable and will have to make do with a place in the stands after picking up a touchline ban.
