Cardiff City Chairman Peter Ridsdale has been unbelievably quiet in recent weeks with scarcely a peep from PR Pete who normally loves nothing more than to get his face, quotes and political spin printed or voiced in public.
Since the revelations about our true financial state, and the finger of blame pointing un-erringly in Ridsdale's direction - the former Leeds Utd supremo appears to have his tail well and truly between his legs.
Seeming left out of all recent negotiations with TG's Malaysian consortium, and sidelined by Steve Borley and co. Ridsdale's tenure is surely nearing an end. The question is when....
TG has pledged to put more money into the club, but that wuill nopt be finalised until just a few short days before our court date. Additionally, the players were paid late this month with TG again making up the shortfall. The likely explaination for that is that this is a political 'maskirovska' designed to paint Ridsdale in his true light - and deny him the opportunity to hide behing his convincing spin.
Essentially we have a month to remove 'The Riddler', or reduce him to such a minimal role that the Malaysians will invest and he will have no control over day-to-day affairs. His departure, and a prospective play-off place well within our reach could make April 2010 a massively productive month for Cardiff City and our loyal fans.
