Cardiff City Shocker In Easy Ipswich Win

Cardiff City rolled over like a dying fish and allowed Ipswich Town to slap them all over the park in a drab 2-0 win which should have been more. In truth, it was an embarassment and the Bluebirds failed to string any meanuingful passages of play together and simply could not pass the ball.

Ipswich were bright, and full of energy but rarely got out of second gear. They didn't need to. Daryl Murphy was the chief destroyer scoring twice but he should ahve had a hat-trick and the score could have been a rugby one with Murphy, Healy, Colback and Garvan all denied by a string of fine saves by David Marshall.

Chopra had a couple of efforts for Cardiff, but they were too few and far between. We never looked like scoring and this was a miserable day out for the small band of travelling Bluebirds. Roy Keane certainly knows how to outsmart Dave Jones and picked up his third win in a row over us - scoring 7 and conceding just 1.

The Cardiff City team looked like relegation candidates short on confidence and belief. On this performance, thats exactly where we should be and there were no options on the bench to change that. Dire.
