Feeney Ends Cardiff City Hell By Joining Owls

Cardiff City striker Warren feeney has been sent out on loan for the umpteenth time during his torrid spell in South Wales after joining Sheffield Wednesday. The move is initially on loan, but will be best for CCFC and the player if the move is made permanent in January as expected.

The Northern ireland International joined from Luton Town, but has barely featured since and never scored a league goal for the Bluebirds. He saw a move to Swansea City, and Leeds United fall through due to untimely injuries while a season-long loan to Dundee United proved fruitful, but finances prevented a permanent switch.

Feeney never really hit is off with Cardiff City, but acted the commsumate professional at all times. He wasn't content to pick up a wage for nothing, always gave 100% and was fair and sensible in his comments to the media. He now joins former captain Darren Purse at Sheffield Wednesday looking to kickstart his club career.

Best of luck Warren Feeney.

Clearly he has no concept of what hell truly is. Please stop sending us your cast offs, it's not funny anymore, we win one game and you have to take your revenge. First Purse now this. I'm off to cry into my beer.

Hey at least we haven't charged you! We got £500k for Steve MacLean who was worse than Feeney!
bluebirdshroom
Now that's a matter of perspective. How much did Maclean leave City for? And please, I think you've punished us enough (Purse was enough for any crime), no more rejects.
robc
We got MacLean for free from Sheff Wed, realised how terrible he was but sold him to Luggy at Plymouth for 500k- Ridsdale's finest hour!
