Sheffield United vs Cardiff City (Team News)

Cardiff City have no new injury probelems ahead of the trip to Sheffield UNited which will almost certainly see Dave Jones name an unchanged line-up. That means that Ross McCormack and Gavin Rae will be named on the bench.

Kevin McNaughton has picked up a calf strain and must wait to make his first appearance of the season while Kelvin Etuhu is out for the next month with ankle ligament damage.

Sheffield United by contrast are suffering a hugely depleted squad and have several key players missing.

Defenders Andrew Davies, Derek Geary and Gary Naysmith are all out meaning veteran Chris Morgan keeps his place.

James Harper, Nick Montgomery, Lee Williamson, and Jamie Ward are also out leaving Darius Henderson as the only fit frontline striker - even he is struggling with an ankle knock but should be fit to play.

Goalkeeper Paddy Kenny is banned after testing positive for an illegal substance so loanee Mark Bunn continues between the sticks.

However, the Blades were strengthened this week with the signing of former Wigan man Henri Camara. The striker is likely to start on the bench but can be a dangerous prospect at this level.
