Cardiff City vs Derby County (Team News)

Cardiff City may make wholesale changes to their malfunctioning unit with Gabor Gyepes and Peter Enckelman those most hopeful of a re-call and their first league starts.

Kevin McNaughton, Ross McCormack and Kelvin Etuhu remain long term absentees for the Bluebirds who will also be without key midfielder Joe Ledley who picked up an automatic one match suspension over the weekend.

Dave Jones has an extra option available in Irishman Stephen McPhail who makes a timely return from a 3 match ban and looks likely to start in central midfield in place of Ledley.

Derby County do have some injury concerns of their own with two important midfielders likely to miss out. Stephen Pearson (groin, Paul Green (foot) and the dangerous Kris Commons are unlikely to feature for the Rams.

Swedish defender Frederik Stoor may make a debut after signing on loan from Fulham. Jake Buxton is rated as doubtful with a stamach problem while Miles Addison will be hoping for a re-call to the starting XI.

Welsh midfielder Robbie Saveage looks set to play a part and may receive a hostile reception on account of being a bit of a ****.
