Cardiff City Dealt Huge Matthews Blow
Cardiff City's young right back Adam Matthews has suffered a disappointing blow with the news that he will face up to a month on the sidelines with a tear to his groin.
Matthews was re-called unexpectedly to the starting line-up and provided energy and intent on the right. In short he looks a terrific prospect and fully deserved his re-call showing impressive determination and skill in attack and defence.
The ttenager will now have a break from first team action and will return around the same time as Kevin McNaughton further reducing his chances of makinf the starting line-up.
Cardiff City have a ready made replacement in Paul Quinn, while Aaron Morris or Miguel Comminges will add cover from the bench. However, Bluebirds fans will be looking forward to seeing Matthews in action again soon.
