'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Player Ratings vs Norwich

ALEXANDER: 7/10
solid confident performance from Alex, saved well from hughes and one great punch. Could do nothing about Earnie's goal.

DARLINGTON: 7/10
great in attack, always probing but lacking in defensive qualities. Huckerby beat him to easily in first half for one shot but otherwise a solid enough display

BARKER: 6/10
recalled and gave an assured performance but didnt get forward often enough

COX: 6/10
used his strenth well to cover lack of pace, good headers out of defence.

LOOVENS: 7/10
great display from dutch CB, judged everything well and prevented the ball reaching the strikers on numerous occasions. very solid.

LEDLEY: 6/10
tried hard but ineffectual performance on the whole. very few telling passes and lost possession regularly.

PARRY: 7/10
good performance by Parry, even on the right side took on his man and looked active but didnt see enough of the ball.

KOUMAS: 7/10
one step ahead of his team-mates meant losing the ball on occasions but some good passes and was involved whenever City did threaten. Kept trying to the end also.

SCIMECA: 5/10
Played very deep and lacked any creativity, composure in passes meant most ended up short. Failed to support at all from midfield and consistently passed sideways or backwards but did protect the back 4 effectively.

THOMPSON: 7/10
Intelligent play and made poor passes look decent. Not afraid to show disappointment when Jerome failed to anticipate his flicks and knock-downs. Worked very hard for little reward.

JEROME: 5/10
disinterested on occasions and only occasionly burst into life. Failed to hurt Norwich and never looked like adding to season's tally. Several shots but all off target. Complacent as no other options in attack and possibly feigned injury to be substituted.

hows ricky scimeca doing for you guys, looks like this match wasnt too hot. one off or a bad buy?
vertigo_red
he's been disappointing on the whole, one awful backpass and rarely provides any attacking impetus. Not convinced by him as yet.

7/10 FOR DARLINGTON and the only thing he got wrong was being roasted by huckerby. Blimey, thats not so bad you know. Huckerby is no slouch.
FEn_100
he started slowly for forest, but soon became the heartbeat of the side
