Cardiff City's promising new loan signing Kelvin Etuhu has given firm backing to the Bluebirds and believes the club really are going places.
The Manchester city forward made his debut during the 3-0 victory against Bristol City and his first start last night during a 3-1 win over Bristol Rovers. He put in a good performance and was involved with the first goal - also going close twice with his own efforts.
Etuhu adds pace, power and versatility to the squad, importantly he has the attributes and physique to cover for injury/suspension to Jay Bothroyd - sothing previously lacking. He is also able to operate in a wide right role, though will have to work hard to displace Chris Burke.
Etuhu told BBC Sport:
'Cardiff have, without doubt, everything in place to make the Premier League.'
'We just have to maintain the good run that we're having.'
'I have only been here a few days but I feel part of the family already and I will give my all to be a part of something great at Cardiff.'
'I consider myself a Cardiff player now, at least for this season, and that is what I'm focusing on.'
'I really enjoyed our work-rate and the way in which the team played a lot of football, it was a joy to be a part of.'
It is of course much easier to come into a side full of confidence and enjoying their football. Nevertheless, Etuhu signing was well received by the Bluebirds fans and he has made an encouraging start. He is likely to remain a substitute for the time being but the determination and commitment already shown suggests he will be doing everything possible to earn a starting place.
