Cardiff City Man Keeps Wales Captaincy
Cardiff City midfielder Joe Ledley has been handed the captain's armband for Wales' game against Montenegro tomorrow after first choice skipper Criag Bellamy was kept behind by Manchester City.
Ledley has been selected to lead his country on several occasions but the return of Bellamy was sure to see him miss out. However, he has kept the honour following Bellamy's late and un-announced withdrawal.
Ledley himself was a slight doubt after being withdrawn at half-time during Cardiff's 4-0 victory over Scunthorpe United. However, Ledley had been struggling with a stomach bug midweek and was substituted as a precaution only.
