Cardiff City Spurn Hull City's Rosco Advances

Cardiff City have rejected a Hull City approach for unsettled striker Ross McCormack after the Tigers came in with a cheeky bid known to be well below Peter Ridsdale's valuation of the player.

A bid of 3m was made, a figure many fans would be tempted by but no details as to the structure of that bid have been revealed. A bid of 4m is likely to do the job for Cardiff City but a sizable chunk of that money would be needed up-front to allow team strengthening.

McCormack would jump at the chance to join Hull City and while the current situation is not his fault, he has certainly contributed to the mess this transfer has caused.

Both sides surely want this sorted once and for all, enough with the mind games!

Hull are saying 3million is their 'final' bid - well, it's not enough .. I think we should [have to?] assume that Peter Ridsdale knows what he's doing .. so until Ross McCormack is NOT a Bluebird, he is a Bluebird and had better get out there on the pitch -IF the manager wants him out there - and he could and should do what we pay him to do .. score so many goals that 4million isn't thought enough!

Ridsdale only wants 4m to cover whatever is going on off the field at the same time. 4m for a player with one season of CC football is exorbitant to say the least. If Ridsdale can get Villa to stump up that sum, well O'Neill is a bigger fool than I make him out to be.

.. back to the dog biscuits RABID - it's HUll not VILLA .. !

I believe Rabid Rob is a hull fan.... guess he's heard the rumour that Aston Villa and Portsmouth have also made contact. 5m is exorbitant, but in line with other such players

substutue Pompey for ONeill, still the same sentiment though.

I think that this is only causing distraction to your club, sell McCormack and Ledley for as best cash buy you can get plus add ons and sell on clauses. Risdale is only trying to make as much as he can before he leaves Cardiff in the lurch.
