Cardiff City Boss In Swine Flu Link
Cardiff City manager Dave Jones is on anti-viral medication and has been kept away from work after developing flu like symptoms and being in contact with a suspected case of swine flu.
Club Chairman Peter Ridsdale has confirmed Dave is off ill, and staying away from the club but stressed that there is no confirmation he does indeed have the disease.
Further comments from the club now indicate Dave and his daughter have been given the all clear and that Dave is in fact suffering from a regular strain of flu.
Terry Burton is ready to take temporary control of first team affairs if Jones does not get the all clear in time. Returning to work early could be disasterous for the Bluebirds if the squad was to come into contact with flu with the season just days away!
