Cardiff City Chasing After Quashie
Cardiff City are being re-linked with a former target in West Ham midfielder Nigel Quashie.
The 30 year old central midfielder is vastly experienced and has played a great deal of football at Premiership level. For a time, he yo-yoed between clubs battling relegation in joining the likes of Portsmouth and Southampton. Last season he joined Wolves on loan.
The Scottish International is a ball-winning, tough midfielder and the type we are likely to be after. At first glance, this seems an un-inspiring signing, another aging player plucked from reserve teams. However, on paper Quashie is a good player and has been an influential dressing room presence wherever he has been.
West Ham are one of a number of clubs interested in signing Joe Ledley from the Bluebirds.
