'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Full Championship Line-Up Revealed

Cardiff City have finally learnt their full list of opponents for next season after a tense final day in the Premiership and the Championship and League One Play-Offs.

Of the teams we faced this season: Wolves, Birmingham City and victorious Clarets of Burnley will test their mettle in the Premiership. The Blades of Sheffield United missed out and will return to Cardiff.

Replacing them will be West Brom, and the unlikely Northern duo of Newcastle United and Middlesborough. Both endured torrid seasons and will have to try their luck in the Championship.

The Championship trap-door saw Southampton, Norwich City and Charlton Athletic depart for league one football with Leicester City, Peterborough and Scunthorpe United (who saw off Millwall's challenge) replacing them.

Of particular note to Cardiff City fans will be the continued presence of Bristol City and Swansea City in the division. West Brom and Reading are biggish clubs and not too far away while a trip to St James' Park will be an away highlight.
