Vultures Circle Over Cardiff City's Ledley

Cardiff City fans will be bracing themselves for a summer of uncertainty regarding our top players should we fail to gain promotion to the Premiership. Many of our players are young, talented and bound to attract interest from top flight clubs.

While uncertainty will rule over many players, it seems equally as certain that Joe Ledley would be on his way - leaving behind the club he has always supported. Numerous clubs have maintained an interest in the Welsh midfielder for several years now and he has long been destined to play in the Premiership.

Whilst Arsenal have watched him, and Everton admired from afar for seemingly forever - it was left to slightly lesser clubs to bid for Ledley though the figures were close to tempting our Chairman - we held onto Joe keeping Stoke City and Wigan Athletic at bay.

Now West Ham and Tottenham Hotspur have joined the list of suitors and surely renewed bids of £6m+ would be likely to be accepted as the Bluebirds set out to re-build our squad.

No-one would be propuder than Ledley to lead the Bluebirds out at the new stadium. However, the financial power of West Ham and co. would be too much UNLESS we take our one chance and reach the Premiership. It's do-able.
