Trundle & Tate Arrested

Last Updated: Wednesday, 5 April 2006, 15:49 GMT 16:49 UK

Swansea's Lee Trundle and Alan Tate were arrested by police on Wednesday following their actions following Swansea's League trophy win on Sunday. Both men have been bailed until the end of April.

'South Wales Police have arrested a 23-year-old man and a 29-year-old man on suspicion of section four public order offences.'

South Wales Police have not yet charged either of the players.

The two players will also face FA of Wales disciplinary action.

An FAW statement said that 'charges will be issued', with a playing ban or a fine the most likely possible actions.
