Eddie Johnson Hits Birthday Landmark

Cardiff City's on-loan striker Eddie Johnson celebrates his 25th birthday today and could be in for a superb week if things go his way.

Celebrating a quarter century of life with a return to the USA squad, followed by a crucial and massive derby clash to look forward to on his return - could Eddie fire a late winner to sink the Swans and score a vital win for the Bluebirds?!?

Its a big ask, and one most Bluebirds fans would think unlikely at best. Nevertheless, a fairytale story for the on-loan Fulham striker is not beyond belief and his status as a Ninian Park 'cult' figure looks set to continue until the end of the season - a winner against Swansea City would see him forever committed to Bluebirds folklore!

A poll is currently open inviting suggestions on Eddie's future. despite his work-rate and popularity - most fans are noot seeking his permanent signiture at the end of the season....so far!
