Swans Sell-Out Allocation For Cardiff Game

Cardiff City fans will be pleased to learn that a full complement of visiting Swans fans will attend the last ever (probably!) South Wales derby at Ninian Park after tickets for the game went on general sale and were snapped up by eager Jacks hoping to get one over on their rivals and perhaps help them sneak into the play-offs.

The game will be held hideously early next Sunday, and will of course be a bubble trip. No doubt there will be those hoping to stir some trouble but lets face the facts of the matter:

This game is potentially huge. A win for Swansea gives them a huge boost in their fading play-off hopes. This game will see two good footballing sides, both desperate for points and with plenty to play for. At the risk of praising our fiercest rivals, they have good away support and providing its the real football fans who travel and not some jumped-up yobbos trying to act tough - it should be a fantastic atmosphere and momentous occasion.

There's plenty to play for, and the ground is sure to be jam packed. It doesn't come any bigger than this one and while Swansea's victory in the league cup gave them slight bragging rights - the game at the Liberty Stadium failed to separate the teams after a red card for McPhail, and this represents a massive opportunity for both sides to state their intentions for the rest of the season.
