Gavin Rae Injury Blow For Cardiff City

Cardiff City have been hit by yet another injury blow as industrious midfielder Gavin Rae is now a doubt for Saturday's clash against Doncaster Rovers.


Rae has been in consistent form in the Bluebirds engine room and struck up a great partnership with Joe Ledley. He had a good game last night, linking up well and struck the bar with a thunderous effort late on.


However, Rae has struggled with a hip complaint this season and whilst it has not caused him to miss significant gametime - he aggrevated the problem last night and may not be fit for Saturday.


Riccy Scimeca is the like-for-like replacement but has barely played in years. Stephen McPhail is returning from a bruised pancreas and doubts remain over a central midfield duo of he and Ledley while Darcy Blake is an outside bet if Rae fails to make it.
