Bid to play alongside Wales legends!
Two Welsh Footballing Legends are set to take charge of an historic event at The Millennium Stadium on Thursday 2nd April, in a charity football match arranged by Football Aid.
Clayton Blackmore and Mickey Thomas will both step onto the hallowed turf at the home of Welsh Football next month, where they will play alongside or manage fans of The Dragons against Pat Nevin`s Rest of the World fans team.
Football Aid is a charitable organisation which gives supporters the opportunity to take part in the ultimate football experience. Imagine the pride of seeing your shirt hanging up in the changing room, the thrill of running through the tunnel and the adrenaline of playing at The Millennium Stadium, twenty-four hours after the Dragons take on Germany in the World Cup qualifiers!
Enthusiastic football fanatics have been logging on at www.footballaid.com with their bid to secure a position in this magnificent event at The Millennium Stadium. And with limited positions still available, there is no better chance for you to become the latest addition to the Team Sheet!
Football Aid was founded in 2000 by businessman and Football Aid Chairman Craig Paterson, and has so far donated over £1.3m to charitable organisations around the country. Over twenty-five clubs have already signed up to support Football Aid`s ninth season, which has over the years allowed almost 10,000 fans to play on the pitch at their favourite clubs ground.
All funds raised from events are distributed through Football Aid`s parent charity, Field of Dreams towards diabetes research, education and management projects and also to charities nominated for funding by the clubs involved in these events.
