Cardiff City are on a very good run of form, despite dropping 4 points in the last two games - albeit against two decent teams.
However, with fixtures already back-up and set to come thick and fast - Cardiff City's newly found squad depth looks set to be tested after some untimely injuries have struck.
Gabor Gyepes missed last night's game with a hamstring injury and joined Jay Bothroyd and Stephen McPhail on the treatment table.
Kevin McNaughton looked in severe discomfort with a hamstring or back problem - he was withdrawn at half time while Chopra was also struggling with his longstanding heel complaint and he made way in the second half.
If that weren't enough, it was revealed after the game that Roger Johnson (groin) and Gavin Rae (hip)are both struggling to make Saturday's game against Southampton.
Tom Heaton and Peter Enckelman are both out for over a month meaning we are down to our third choice keeper.
If these players are unavailable - we would line-up:
Konstantopoulos,
Defenders: Comminges on the right, Kennedy on the left, Purse and either one of youngsters Darcy Blake / Darren Dennehy.
In midfield: Whittingham on the left, Burke on the right with Joe Ledley alongside Riccy Scimeca in the middle.
In attack: Ross McCormack would start alongside Eddie Johnson or Paul Parry.
The loss of these players would hit us hard, but this line-up is no worse than we've had for the last few seasons. The biggest problem is the loss of Roger Johnson meaning a rookie must step in - fans will be hoping Roger above all others returns to face Southampton.
