Cardiff City Collection For Merthyr Tydfil FC
Cardiff City's supporter's club will be out at tomorrow's game against QPR and will be running a bucket collection prior to the game to raise some much needed cash for Merthyr Tydfil FC - currently on the brink of extinction.
Even small amounts of money can make a difference and buy valuable time for the Martyrs - they were granted a stay of execution last week after charitable donations by fans and all Cardiff City supporters who can spare a small amount are asked to help save MTFC.
We can always sympethise with the plight of clubs in financial difficulties, it could so easily have been us. Whilst Merthy have historically been rivals to us - it would be a great shame if their club was wound up.
