Routledge To Return & Face Cardiff City Wrath !

Cardiff City will welcome back a familiar face to Ninian Park tomorrow night when Wayne Routledge returns to face the Bluebirds with new club QPR. Routledge was a revelation on loan with Cardiff earlier this season and Jones and Risdale worked hard to agree a deal with Aston Villa. Routledge made all the right noises about opportunities, first team appearances and the like but as he was due to sign, left the training complex without a word to his team-mates and sped off to agree significantly higher terms with QPR.

Now Routledge returns and will face the wrath of the Ninian Park crowd. Never those to forget easily, these events are fresh in the memory and he will surely get a hot reception. He has impressed at QPR so far, and remains a valuable asset in this division with skill, raw pace and an eye for goal. If Marcus Bent is a marker for those who desert us when due to sign, Routledge will have a tough time - we must only hope it doesn't encourage him, he is far more dangerous to us than Bent ever could be!
