Cardiff City: 'Scared Witless' Of Hopeless Wolves?

Cardiff City have been given a warning from Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Mick McCarthy that we should be 'scared witless' as we travel to face the West Midlands club on Sunday BECAUSE the Wolves are in such awful form! Whilst Cardiff City sit in a lofty Championship position, and are unbeaten in eleven league games - that means nothing as Wolves are in shocking form, a situation supposed to terrify Bluebirds players, staff and fans alike... McCarthy told the Express & Star:

'They ought to be coming here scared witless of 11 of our players with a point to prove.

'Let`s not dance around it - it`s shocking, hopeless form and our performance at Burnley was rubbish, absolutely dire.'

I suspect McCarthy is hurting after the recent lack of form, and on the defensive as he gave these particular quotes. I suspect he meant to say that his side fear no-one and will be concentrating on their own gam, it just didn't quite come across that way. As for being terrified of a side he calls hopeless and rubbish - Maybe not.
