Cardiff's Parry Sent For Precautionary Scan

Paul Parry was withdrawn on Monday to allow returning winger Peter Whittingham some gametime ahead of a busy schedule for the Bluebirds - Whitts had been out for some time with a hamstring injury and looked off the pace against the Gunners.

However, Paul Parry had also picked up a knock and was up at the Heath Hospital yesterday for a precautionary scan on his hamstring!

Parry currently occupies the left wing slot for Cardiff City, but will face stiff competition from both Whittingham and new signing Quincy. A recent poll (still open on the right side of your screen) puts the two widemen neck-and-neck and Parry will be desperate to hold onto his starting position following a frustrating 2 years drifting in and out of the side.

No news has been released on Parry's injury but it is not thought to be serious and he is likely to be available on Sunday as we travel to Wolves.
