'Arsenal In For A Shock' Against Cardiff City

Cardiff City manager Dave Jones is in confident mood ahead of tonight's trip to Arsenal and insists the Gunners will have a match on their hands despite the differences in stature between the clubs.

Jones' side are in good form, and are chomping at the bit following a spirited draw at home and a lengthy rest due to postponed fixtures. He told the SW Echo:

"We will go out to win and I don`t think that is out of realms of possibility to do that - if Arsenal are not at their very best, then we obviously stand a better chance of turning them over."

"Arsenal are like us, they simply can`t turn up and turn the tap on and off."

"They will have to be at full pelt to beat us."

Arsenal by contrast are not in the best of form, and are missing a number of influential players. Nevertherless, their squad is packed full of quality and both manager and players have spoken of the importance the FA Cup is to them this season. In fact, it's likely to be their best shot at silverware.

Yea right the most one sided game i've ever seen, and made my night so pleasant, not so easy to get to the final when you have a bit of competition is it, absolutely pmsl

or not eh.... Seriously though, I liked the way you played over the two legs. Despite the obvious gap in quality shown tonight, you have a good team attitude and you play the game nicely. We did, of course, have some extra motivation tonight as well with Eduardo's return.

your right of course cyjax, if only we could have played havant and waterlooville....

HA HA the complete opposite from your side Jonesy. Didn't compete whatsoever and Arsenal made you look like a League 2 side at best. Hardly got the ball, didn't make them work at all and your keeper kept the score below 7 or 8, it easily could have been that many.
