Arsenal Strikers Hold No Fear For Johnson

Cardiff City defender Roger Johnson is one of our most impressive players and recently topped a poll of the Bluebirds most influential (see here).

Johnson is a confident and ambitious type, surely destined for the Premiership and with good leadership qualities. He is never afraid to have a go at team-mates and his commitment typifies his passion and determination. Roger is looking forward to facing Arsenal again on Monday and with striker Emmanuel Adebayor injured, and new foirward Andrey Arshavin ineligible - reckons he can keep the Gunners attack quiet. He told the official website:

'They have depth and quality in their squad but Nicklas Bendtner and Robin van Persie played in the last game and we handled them well so there is no reason why we can't do it again.'

'It's a nice ground and a big pitch, which should suit us, so we're confident and hopefully we can put our chances away this time and get a result.'

Arsenal possess a squad packed with talent but have notable absentees: Adebayor, Rosicky, Fabregas, Ramsey, Eboue, Abou Diaby are all missing so Cardiff City, in impressive form certainly have a chance of causing an upset.
