Rambo Blow For Gunners - Hope For Cardiff City

Former Cardiff City midfielder Aaron Ramsey is unlikely to feature for his new club Arsenal when the two sides meet in the FA Cup replay non Monday. After picking up a knee injury.

Ramsey went down heavily in the second half of Wales 1-0 defeat to Poland having come on at half time. After a few seconds in considerable pain, Ramsey recovered and continued but initial synopsis on the injury suggests he may need 2 weeks before playing again.

Ramsey started the game at Ninian Park but was incredibly subdued and ineffective playing far too deep and unable to penetrate as Bluebirds` fans know he can

With playmaker Cesc Fabregas out injured, Abou Diaby and Rosicky with hamstring problems, and new signing Andrey Arshavin ineligible - Arsenal will struggle for midfield options and attacking threat but will still provide an incredibly stern test for Cardiff City.

Gunners` boss Arsene Wenger did not seem too happy about Rambo`s injury:

"From what I heard he has stretched his medial knee ligament. It is hard to tell anything when you have not seen the player yet."

Whilst it is never nice to see a young Welsh talent injured, Ramsey should not be out for long and his absence is surely good news for Cardiff City fans.

Could be wrong here but Arshavin isn't inelligable and we should see his debut against you lot. Will be interesting

Sorry to disappoint Mr Scooch but you are wrong. Arshavin was not an Arsenal player on date of the initial cup game and is therefore ineligible for the replay. Definitely.
