Ledley To Return Fresh & Focused

Cardiff City fans will be pleased to note that Wales boss John toshack has been sympathetic to our hectic fixture schedule and did not imp[ose too heavy a workload on Bluebirds midfielder Joe Ledley.

Ledley travelled to Portugal as Wales took on Poland, and with a number of players unavailable, was a certainty to start and feature heavily in Toshack's plans.

Fortunately for Cardiff City, Ledley was withdrawn at half time and should return to the club in peak condition following a reasonably long rest before a difficult spell coming up. The Fairwater born midfielder played well in a bright first half and hit the bar before being replaced at the interval by Carl Fletcher.

Former Bluebirds Chris Gunter and Aaron Ramsey also featured in the game which ended in a 1-0 defeat for the Welsh following a late strike from replacement Roger Guerreiro.
