Cardiff City Are Officially 'Most Unbeatable Team'

Cardiff City are lying high in the Championship and were denied the chance to continue their impressive form by a frozen Ninian Park pitch when Derby County were due to visit.

However, with the postponemnt of that fixture, and a 3-1 beating handed out to leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers by Preston North End - Cardiff City became the nost difficult team to beat in the Championship.

Prior to that game, Wolves and Cardiff City had been beaten just 4 times this season in the topsy-turvy unpredictable scrap that is the Championship. Now, that title belongs solely to the Bluebirds with Reading and Birmingham City having also racked up 5 defeats apiece.

Our two home defeats were inflicted by Wolves and Birmingham City - both flying high. Away from home Plymouth Argle and QPR both beat us by a goal.

Unfortunately for Cardiff City, despite becoming very difficult to beat - we are still racking up too many draws - 11 in total, only our neighbours Swansea City have drawn more times (14). Of late, we have looked more likely to win our games and if that continues - we remain in good shape for a promotion charge.

Our three games against Reading (2-2, 1-1 and 2-0) prove we need fear no-one in this division and with the Royals surely destined for a play-off place at least - we appear finally to be genuine promotion contenders rather than the also-rans of previous seasons.
