Cardiff City Linked To Man Utd Star Ryan Giggs

Cardiff City Linked To Man Utd Star Ryan Giggs

There has been much paper talk over the weekend regarding a possible Cardiff City swoop for Welshman Ryan Giggs - the seasoned Manchester United legend.

Any club should be honoured to be linked with Giggs, a model proffessional with bags of quality and experience - there is no doubt he is fitter than Hasselbaink and Fowler and remains a very effective player at the highest of levels.

The story however is virtually non-existent. Bourne from the fact that Giggs' contract expires in May, and may not be renewed added to the fact that Dave Jones and Peter Ridsdale had discussed monitoring Giggs' situation.

A Cardiff boy, Giggs has in the past mentioned the lure of ending his playing gays as a Bluebird but as for all the media hype - any deal is a long long way off.

if we offer him player-coach.....could be hard to turn down. Ryan loves only two clubs

Read in the Metro (yes i know) that is options are many, and personally, if he didn't get renewed by Man United, then I should think he would want to return home. Here's hoping!! He would still kill it in the Championship, but better still, if we get promoted, he would be a wonderful experience model for the other non-premiershiped players in our squad. player/coach? - anything to get him here..
