Cardiff City Star Fires Warning To 'Great' Arsenal

Cardiff City midfielder and stand-in captain Joe Ledley has insisted his promotion canditates can cause an FA Cup upset and knock Premiership giants Arsenal out of the FA Cup when the two sides meet later this month.

Cardiff City were rewarded for a 2-0 victory over Reading with a plum home tie against Arsenal and the Gunners will not be expecting an easy time at Ninian Park.

Joe Ledley firnmly believes the Bluebirds can provide a tough test and continue the excellent Cup form of last season. He told BBC Sport:

'Anything can happen in football and if we can play as good as we can then we've a good enough chance.'

'We proved last season that anyone has a chance in the Cup.'

'Arsenal have great players all the way through their team and will difficult for us. But we can cope with that. And if you look at the quality, pace and power in our team, we have a chance. We also defend well and look dangerous on the break.'

'It'll be a good game to watch and if the crowd get behind us, it'll give us a lift and put pressure on Arsenal.'

The game will see Jay Bothroyd play against the team he trained at while a youth footballer, while former Bluebird Aaron Ramsey will hope to play a part against his former club.
