Cardiff City winger Paul Parry is looking in great form at present following a frustrating couple of months for the Welshman. Having returned to the International fold, only to pull out again for 'personal reasons', Parry was not producing his best football and became the midfield man often left on the bench in favour of Whittingham/Ledley and co.
However, since injury to Whittingham and the recent suspension to McPhail have granted Parry a prolonged run in the side and notably a return to his favoured position on the left flank. It's no coincidence that the past few games have seen Parry back to his most menacing form and he has revelled in the added space afforded to his by the inclusion of fellow pacy forwards Routledge and Chopra.
A form player anyway, Parry has looked more comfortable and confident. His second half performance against Preston was superb while last Saturday he was a constant problem to Moritz Volz, the German right-back with plenty of Premiership experience with Fulham.
It could so easily have been Parry dropped to make space for McPhail after his return last week, but Parry has impressed and made himself virtually undroppable. He is almost certain to start tomorrow against Sheffield Wednesday but may be utilised in attack should Chopra fail to recover from a bruised shin. On the left, right or in attack - Paul Parry can cause problems, and is doing so at present, all he needs now is a goal....
