Roger Johnson Most Important For Cardiff City

Cardiff City fans have voted former Wycombe Wanderers centre-back Roger Johnson as the first name on the team-sheet according to a recent poll on this Vital Cardiff City website.

Johnson was one of two contenders as he and McCormack polled the vast majority of the vote as the poll quickly became a two horse race.

After being neck-and-neck for some time, we extended the poll duration for an extra 2 days allowing Johnson to build up a big lead:

Johnson (38%)
McCormack (26%)
McNaughton (10%)
Heaton (6%)
Ledley (6%)
Bothroyd (5%)
Purse (5%)
McPhail (4%)

Johnson himself has not been in the best form recently, particularly indecisive against Plymouth Argyle in the recent televised game. However, he has already had 3 partners in defense this season in Purse, Loovens and Gyepes and is yet to form a longstanding partnership with any.

In theory, it's possible that Johnson won due to confusion over which I meant - though any Cardiff City fan voting for Eddie Johnson to be first name on the teamsheet ahead of Chopra, McCormack and Bothroyd must be a little peculiar....!
