Swans Stars To Miss Cardiff City Clash
Swansea City have been hit by a double blow ahead of the derby game against us in a weeks time after key midfielders Ferrie Bodde and Jordi Gomez were both ruled out.
Bodde looks likely to miss the rest of the season and will be a huge loss to the Swans. It seemed likely he would leave in January but they will now miss out on a multi-million pound fee for the Dutchman.
Another player missing will be Jordi Gomez who collected a 5th yellow card on Friday night. He will be available for the midweek clash against Coventry City but an automatic 1 match ban will then kick in and he misses the derby clash.
Both players are important for Swansea City and in contrast, the Bluebirds may have the likes of McCormack, Ledley and Bothroyd all returning in time to feature.
Gomez scored the winner when the 2 sides met in the Carling cup and he and Bodde are joint top scorers for Swansea City this season - both from midfield.
