Cardiff City Fans Ecstatic At Chopra Result

Michael Chopra made a welcome return to Cardiff City recently after being chased by a number of Championship sides following difficult times at Sunderland. Chopra was brought in at great expense to cover injuries to Ross McCormack and Jay Bothroyd as well as apeasing fans who had become frustrated with the lack of activity in the transfer market.

A move for Chopra suits all parties. The club, fans and player himself should all benefit from the loan deal which may yet become permanent in January.

A recent poll on this Vital Cardiff City website invited readers to share their views on Chopra's return:

Feelings on Chopra's return?

Ecstatic 82%
Satisfied 1%
Suprised 5%
Apathetic 2%
Disappointed 10%

The outcome was predictable, with the vast majority delighted to welcome Chops back and excited to see him play. A minority 10% claimed disappointment though this may also be down to a contingent of site visitors from Swansea City or QPR who narrowly missed out on signing Chopra themselves.

After a week in full training, Chopra will be eager to get on the scoresheet tomorrow and can be sure of an excellent reception from Ninian Park. Welcome home Chops.
