'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Crystal Palace Fan's View On Cardiff City Clash

Aspirations for the season? Happy with the start?

I always felt play-offs might be a stretch too far, but I hope we'll give it a good go. Consistency has been a major problem for us, and a couple of wins or defeats would see us in relegation or play-off zone! Still we always leave it late for our surge....

Satisfied with the squad?

I think we have the basis of a good squad but are seriously lacking in attack. Simply dont have the strength or matchwinners you need. Not convinced that Beattie is the answer but he needs more time.

Mark Kennedy joined us on a free - your thoughts?

A likeable guy but I really felt he'd outlived his usefulness and would wind up at a lower league club. If he was injury free, he can be quality but I certainly didnt think he'd play a part for us this season.

Player to watch Saturday?

I'd have to say Victor Moses - just hope he starts! Very exciting player no matter what position - certainly our most potent attacking threat.

If you could have one Cardiff City player on a free - who and why?

As I already mentioned, we're short of strikers and what team wouldn't want McCormack?! I had never heard of him until this season but keep seeing his name on scoresheets..

Prediction for the game?

A draw would be a good result but I know you have injuries so I'm going for a narrow 2-1 win for the Eagles!

Many thanks to NCB for his views.
