Cardiff City Stars Struck By Flu Set-Back

Cardiff City's preparations for tonight's important clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers were hit this week after two important team members were forced to pull out of training through illness.

A 'flu-like' bug hit the squad with winger Paul Parry and striker Jay Bothroyd among those worst hit although both are expected to recover and make the starting line-up for tonight's 5.20 kick-off against Wolves.

Peter Whittingham and Eddie Johnson are on stand-by should either still be suffering but Bothroyd especially will be desperate to play against his old club after hitting an impressive run of form - unluckily missing out on the man of the match award following Tuesday's home win against Blackpool.
