Cardiff Man Johnson Makes 'Team of the Week'

Cardiff Man Johnson Makes 'Team of the Week'

Roger Johnson that is, rather than the big money earner Eddie Johnson - largely employed as a bench-warmer!

RJ was a consistent part of the Bluebirds defence which saw captain Darren Purse replaced by debutant Gyepes, and Mark Kennedy replaced by Comminges yet failed to concede against a spirited Forest attack.

If truth be told, Forest deserved a goal and it was more luck that allowed our clean sheet than an inspired defensive performance. Nevertheless, Johnson is in decent form and looks certain to find the net soon having gone close on a number of occasions of late.

The team in full:

Artur Krysiak (Swansea), Kevin Foley (Wolves), Roger Johnson (Cardiff), Dean Leacock (Derby), Robert Kozluk (Barnsley), Michael Kightly (Wolves), Brian Howard (Sheffield Utd), Owen Garvan (Ipswich), Jordi Gomez (Swansea), Garry O'Connor (Birmingham), Kevin Lisbie (Ipswich).
