More Fall-Out Over Forest's Dave Jones Abuse

The FA has launched an investigation into the abuse directed at Cardiff City boss Dave Jones during the 1-0 win against Nottingham Forest at the weekend.

Jones himself was calm during the game but launched a scathing attack after the game - branding the abusive fans 'morons'.

The Nottingham Forest Chairman and Chief Exec. sought Jones out following the game to personally apologise and re-assure Jones that the Forest fans involved were a minority and not representative of the rest of the crowd.

Thankfully, this kind of behaviour is not all that regular and the FA stepping in should at least raise awareness that this is just as bad as racism and has no place in the game.

"Just as bad as racism" - a prevalent theme whenever Cardiff come to town with the anti-English/anti-Welsh bile from the knuckle-draggers from both sets of fans. This really is being taken too far. The chants directed at Dave Jones were shameful, but to pretend they're somehow new is rather short-sighted. Handy way of publicising a forthcoming autobiography, too. He should've stuck to commenting on the game - rather than inflaming the situation during the game with *****er gestures, and then whining about it afterwards. Do you think for a minute the Swansea fans will resist? Do you honestly believe your own fans don't/haven't/won't chant worse at other people? Some people need a reality check in my opinion.

I think the point is there for all to see, if you're not embarassed by it - thats your call. I know I am when so called 'fans' of my club behave in this way.
