Cardiff City play host to Charlton Athletic on Saturday looking to grab a welcome three points against the Addicks. We spoke to CAFC fanatic Neil Murray ahead of the game to get his views:
Aspirations for the season? Happy with the start?
Play-offs are the goal, and it should be a realistic one. Unfortunately the start has not backed this up although a few good results and we're right in the mix. We've shown some promise, and had some bad luck but we're not too far away.
And things off the field?
No idea what's going on! Plenty of parties interested in taking over, lots of confusion about whom and how much money they would invest. Personally I don't care - I just want an end to it so we can concentrate on the football.
Happy with the summer transfer dealings?
Primus is a shrewd acwuisition, but only on loan while Bouazza is certainly an exciting player on his day. Overall happy although why we signed Fleetwood only to loan him out again is a bit of a mystery.
Player to watch Saturday?
I rate Luke Varney highly and think he could cause you problems.
If you could have one Cardiff City player on a free - who and why?
Stephen McPhail has always looked an excellent player and I think he's complement Matty Holland perfectly in midfield.
Prediction for the game?
We're not in the best of form, especially away from home but I'd back us to take at least a point. 1-1.
