DJ Set To Rotate For Cardiff vs Swansea

Cardiff City manager Dave Jones is considering making a few changes to his line-up for tonight's highly anticipated derby clash between Swansea City and Cardiff City although Jones has also intimated he will name a strong side anyway.

That means there are only several players likely to be selected and given a chance to prove their worth. Attack is one area not functioning as well as we'd like and happens to be an area where Jones has options. Jay Bothroyd could well get a start after impressing as a substitute on Saturday, while Jones has also hinted that Eddie Johnson will get a start.

The American has yet to convince Cardiff fans with some insauspicious performances from the bench. However, he is only just getting to know his team-mates after jetting around the world with USA.

Another player likely to get a chance is Hungarian Gabor Gyepes. We have yet to see the defender, a replacement for Glenn Loovens, in action following his switch from Northampton Town. He has had to be patient on the bench though Dave Jones knows he will not be happy to do so.

Who do you think should start up-front tonight? Personally I think Bothroyd and McCormack are the best bet to get the job done. However, if Eddie Johnson is to play a part this season, he needs game-time soon and a few goals. Let us know your thoughts.

As above: Bothroyd and McCormack for me, though I would play Parry wide on the right

I've not seen Eddie Johnson play, but doesn't sound like tonight is the right night to be trying stuff out. Stick with McCormack and Parry, more pace to trouble their defence

Think this game would have suited Thommo perfectly. Maybe not Bothroyd's style so perhaps giving the unknown quantity Johnson the first half could pay off. Johnson and Parry, with McCormack on after 60
Aderyn las
For me this is so easy but will never happen! I want Ledley, McPhail, Rae in the middle. With Parry on left and MacCormack on right switching between midfield and attack. Bothroyd in middle on his own.
Bonesy
Interesting! Everyone so far wants Parry in there somewhere.... Bonesy that formation could be very useful to pin angel rangel back and stop him attacking - but like you i cant see it happening

no excuses tonight, have to pick the strongest side - which means boothroyd and mccormack for sure. I also wouldnt change the defence unless necessary, too important to meddle with this game

yer stick with the winning team and what a chance for bothroyd to score his 1st goal thios would be
