Cardiff City Set To Re-Chase Ched Evans ?

Cardiff City are known to be huge admirers of Welsh International and Machester City starlet Ched Evans, and despite recieving a firm knock-back during the summer, recent changes at Eastlands could make a huge difference.

The exit of Thaksin Shinawatra, and entrance of the new Abu Dhabi United Group - or 'moneybags' for short has led to a new era for Manchester City and Mark Hughes will be able to conpletely re-vamp his squad.

The signing of Robinho underlines their ambition and Ched Evans could easily be forced out with a loan move looking all the more likely. We recently moved Steve Thompson off the wage bill, and could have some money to spare to bring in Ched Evans.

However, there will be a whole host of other Championship teams, possibly even Premiership keeping a close eye on the situation and there will be stiff competition for his signature. Nevertheless, John Toshack is a regular at Ninian Park to watch Ledley, Blake (no longer Parry!) and this could help persuade Evans. Clutching at straws? Perhaps!
