Cardiff City vs Southampton Heading For Sell-Out

Cardiff City's first game of the new season is now less than a week away and the home clash against Southampton looks likely to see a near full Ninian Park.

With nearly 14000 season ticket holders, crowd sizes are impossible to guage and should these supporters stay away - there will be large gaps - a real shame.

For those without season tickets, get there fast as availability is already limited. The Spar family stand and Lower Grandstand sectionsa are already sold out.

One signing appears iminant, with another possibly in time for the Championship opener which would obviously boost the gate even further.

This could be a great season for Cardiff City Football Club, every season ticket holder, and fan must get down to Ninian Park and ensure a great atmosphere as we bid to start the season in style.

I hope everyone gets behind the boys for what could be a very special season. Ninian Park will always be special in my mind because i first went to see the Bluebirds over 50 years ago. Lots of ups and downs since then and also some famous victories. But we have to move on and the new stadium is really taking shape now. Wouldnt it be fantastic if this was the season we finally gained promotion to the Premiership!! COME ON YOU BLUEBIRDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
