Fowler Blow For New Cardiff City Man McCormack

Whilst not too many Cardiff City fans will lose sleep over Robbie Fowler turning his back on the club to join Blackburn Rovers, one man will have reason to be disappointed.

New Bluebird Ross McCormack, highly rated and expected to fire goals new season, recently spoke about the chance to work with Robbie Fowler - part of the reason he opted to join City over plenty of other suitors including Nottingham Forest.

McCormack had told the BBC:

'It was a good chance to come and play with a player like Robbie,'

'He was my hero when I was growing up, I was a big Liverpool fan and he was scoring all the goals for them.'

McCormack is entitled to feel disappointed and slightly misled by the CCFC management who assured him Fowler would sign. Nevertheless, everyone at the club will feel hurt by Fowler's decision whether he's any good or not!

At present, Cardiff City have only Ross McCormack and Steve Thompson in attack - with Warren Feeney out on loan and a potential settlement due to Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.

Fowler is all about the MONEY!!!! forget him! there are loads of much younger more hungry strikers than Robbie Fowler! Marcus Bent will score more than Fowler!!
