Cardiff City 'Van der Schaaf - ted' by Burnley !!
Cardiff City midfield target Remco van der Schaaf has, as expected, turned down a deal with Cardiff City and instead signed for fellow Championship outfit Burnley.
I can only assume City were not all that keen on Remco, and only offered a 1 year deal to the 29 year old. In truth, that area (defensive midfield) is not a particular area of worry with Gavin Rae, Riccardo Scimeca and Darcy Blake all suited to that role.
However, despite Remco being 'very impressed' with Cardiff City's training facilities - he will now play against us next season for the Clarets.

We offered him a three year deal and we are forking out for a £30million investment in Turf Moor and our training facilities at Gawthorpe. Good selling points!
