Less Talking More Action For Cardiff City !

Cardiff City fans are patiently waiting for some confirmed happenings regarding progress and new signings but all we have so far is positive intent.

Whilst other clubs, including our rivals, have been making signings and strengthening squads - we have not as yet seen any real action.


Miguel Comminges seems a confirmed signing, though we have heard nothing about a pre-contract agreement just that he 'will sign' once his Swindon Town deal runs out. The odds against another Chris Killen seem unlikely but the deal may yet not be finalised.


Peter Enckelman has been 'set' to sign a 2 year deal for an eternity - how long does his signature take?!?


Whittingham, Johnson, Parry and Loovens have all been in 'positive talks' but as yet, none have put pen to paper while Robbie Fowler's deal which was 'put on the table' a month ago, has now become 'soon to be discussed'.


In addition, we have 'made enquiries' regarding 4 of the 'right' strikers (we haven't had one of those for a while!) but have absolutely no indication that any are coming or indeed their clubs are willing to let them go! Chopra, Evans and Boyd are all good targets but realistic - we don't know.



How I'd love to be proved wrong in a press conference this afternoon or Monday - but until we see players sitting next to Dave Jones and holding up their new shirt - City fans are set to continue guessing and largely hoping for some definitive action.
