'The Neviller' Turned Ramsey Off Man Utd !

Cardiff City starlet Aaron Ramsey made a suprise decision when opting to join Arsenal instead of childhood heroes Manchester United this week.

Key to the decision were the relative welcomes he was given after being courted by three top Premiership teams and having been watched by numerous others. David Moyes met Ramsey and impressed the teenager, but it was Arsene Wenger who flew Ramsey and family out to Zurich for a personal lunch meeting with the Gunners boss.

Thats in stark constrast to the Manchester United experience, where their expectation to sign Ramsey fell short of the mark following a telephone conversation with Alex Furguson, and a stadium tour by none other than Gary Neville!

Man Utd were the clear favourites to land Rambo, but something didn't quite add up right to the youngster and Arsenal seemed the safer bet - I'm not sure I blame him!!!
